Build a store-view SEO QA matrix before the release

One passing product page in the default store view doesn't verify a multi-market Commerce implementation. Create a small matrix of which store views and template classes you actually need to inspect.

Choose the store views and templates

Use labels from your own installation. The output is a checklist framework, not a test of real Commerce URLs. No data leaves your browser. Keep a manageable first sample and add real example URLs, owners and observed results to your release ticket.

Example scope: two store views multiplied by three template classes requires six representative test combinations. Each combination still needs actual source URLs and an observed status.

Why view-by-view evidence matters

For each representative template, capture its final URL, rendered canonical, HTTP result, internal links and market or language signals. Product pages need accurate variants and offers; category pages need useful product discovery; CMS pages may carry older rewrite paths. Ask whether a release changes those outputs for both default and secondary views.

Know which Adobe Commerce deployment you're testing

Adobe's URL rewrite admin guidance is labelled for PaaS/on-premises installations; Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service and headless storefronts may route requests differently. Identify your actual edition and frontend architecture before assuming that a particular admin checkbox controls the production HTTP response. The URL rewrite release guide explains the more detailed route-level acceptance decisions.
